Save Ourselves Sister Program (S.O.S)

In a few short weeks we will reveal to Los Angeles a program that has never been seen in the history of Los Angeles called Save Ourselves Sister Program (S.O.S). NCNW View Park along with 12 collaborative partners have collided together to form a dynamic 360 Degree Holistic approach to changing the fate of our African American Girls and Young Women in the city of Los Angeles. Save Ourselves Sisters will touch the lives of girls age 8-18 in the areas of: Health & Wellness, Life Skills Etiquette, Personal Development, Financial Literacy, Social Media Etiquette, HIV & AIDS, Cyber Bullying , Awareness, Sex Trafficking Prevention, Positive Imagery, Domestic Violence Prevention, Hair Care, Foster Youth Advocacy, Mentorship, Job Preparedness & Parenting Classes for both girls & participants parents.

We strongly believe that since our girls grow up and raise our boys and girls we need to get to the Root of the tree and not just the fruit it bears. I can give you a long violin list of reasons why NCNW View Park, needs to specifically focus on Girls and Women of African Decent in Los Angeles, but time is of the essence.

  • The next time you see, Bright Blue Weaved Hair, say to yourself "S.O.S. has got some work to do".

  • The next time you see, Panty Shorts worn on the street, say to yourself " S.O.S. has got some work to do".

  • The next time you see a Tattooed covered arm, leg or neck, say to yourself " S.O.S. has got some work to do".

  • The next time you see a young girl selling her body, say to yourself " S.O.S. has got some work to do".

  • The next time you hear a young mother cursing her 2 year old baby out because he/she can't keep up, say to yourself " S.O.S. has SURELY got some work to do".

YES, NCNW View Park and S.O.S. has got some work to do and we can't do it without you! Please support this Community Breakfast in an effort to catapult S.O.S. and the girls we serve. #saveourselvessisters
